Our portable shower easily fits into the back of any sized vehicle, can be taken absolutely anywhere and requires no batteries to use. It’s operated manually, with an easy hand pump to reach the desired water pressure.
There are 10 different shower head modes to choose from with a water run time of approx 2-4 minutes (depending on the shower head mode used).

What’s the difference between the Portable Shower Original and the Portable Shower Pro?
Our Portable Shower Originals come in both 5L and 8L capacities and are made from High-quality HDPE plastic (BPA-free) – perfect for a rinse.
Our Portable Shower Pro has a 10L capacity and is FDA approved as food grade - which means it’s 100% safe to drink from too.
How can I warm the water?
It’s simple! Just fill your Portable Shower with warm water (<50°C/122°F for safety reasons and to protect the unit itself).
The 4mm neoprene cover will then keep it warm for a few hours so you can enjoy a nice and toasty shower post-plunge.
How long does the water stay warm?
This varies depending on your surroundings, the temperature of the water you filled it with and the climate, so it’s difficult to predict.
As an example, during winter time in northern New South Wales Australia (average temps of 9°C to 20°C), we fill our shower with hot tap water around 8 am and load it in the van. By 12 pm it’s still nice and warm.
Will it stay warm even if I’m somewhere really cold?
Yes, but you need to give it some TLC. By that we mean you should wrap an extra layer around your Portable Shower to keep it nice and snug. This will ensure the water stays warm - even if you live in an area that experiences low outdoor temps.
What size Portable Shower should I choose?
We’re happy to help you find the right size shower for your needs, but the best place to start is to ask yourself two things: how will I use it and for how many people?
For individuals a 5L shower should do the trick. For couples, surfers, campers or larger families you’ll find an 8L or 10L shower is perfect. For more info about sizes, check out our guide here.
Do I need to continually pump for the shower to work?
Nope. You only need to pump it 7 to 9 times to build pressure (with a few top-up pumps when needed). In saying that, the number of pumps required will vary depending on the showerhead mode you’ve chosen. Learn more about the different showerhead modes here.
Can I shower hands-free?
Sure can! Just flick the switch to facilitate a continuous stream of water - no nozzle hold necessary.

How heavy are the Portable Showers when full?
Taking the weight of the Portable Showers themselves into account and with the understanding that 1L equals approx 1 kg...
- a 5L shower will weigh 6.5 kg
- an 8L shower will weigh just over 10 kg
- a 10L shower will weight approx 12.75kg
